Kate here from Living Luminously! We were busy yesterday celebrating National Hemp Day, and we whipped up this nutrient packed hemp smoothie! Did you know about all of the amazing benefits of hemp seeds? We are here to tell you a few!

Hemp seeds:

  • Are a complete source of protein
  • Are loaded with fiber
  • Are loaded with essential vitamins and minerals
  • Aid healthy digestion
  • Support hair, skin, and nail health.

Luminous Plant Based Hemp Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 serving

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 tsp cocoa powder

½ avocado

½ cup strawberries

½ banana

1 cup of Suja Berry Protein (or unsweetened vanilla almond milk) with dash of cinnamon

 

Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender and pour into a glass. Add your favorite toppings or top with more cinnamon, hemp seeds, and cocoa powder. ENJOY!
