Annie Lawless, Suja Juice Co-Founder and Certified Holistic Health Coach
Annie Lawless, Co-Founder of Suja Juice and Certified Holistic Health Coach (CHHC), developed a passion for health and nutrition as a teenager after years of managing her own food sensitivities. She saw her health vastly improve when she began juicing and following a modified organic diet. Annie strengthened her knowledge for health and nutrition through her work as a yoga instructor and during her training at the Integrative Institute for Nutrition to become a Certified Holistic Health Coach. When not in the kitchen or on the road, Annie spearheads consumer education for Suja, which ranges from blogging on behalf of the brand, sharing her innovative recipe creations on Suja’s social media platforms and her personal favorite, one-on-one interaction with Suja fans.

Julie Upton

Julie Upton, MS, RD
Julie is a San Francisco-based registered dietitian and nutrition communications specialist. Ms. Upton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Michigan State University and completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition Communications from Boston University and is co-author of The Real Skinny: Appetite for Health’s 101 Fat Habits and Slim Solutions (Penguin 2013). Upton is co-founder of Appetite for Health (www.AppforHealth.com), where she writes daily about nutrition, fitness and health.

Nick Symmonds is a two time Olympian for the USA (Beijing and London) specializing in mid-distance track racing. He is a passionate outdoorsman and when not traveling the world for races, Nick can be found in the Pacific Northwest climbing mountains and fishing. Nick is currently training for the 2016 Olympic Games. His favorite Suja is Green Supreme.

Max has been featured in The New York Times, Fox News Channel, CNN, Forbes, Shape Magazine, Self Magazine, The Huffington Post, Veria Living, and numerous other publications. An organic food activist, partner of the Just Label It! campaign, and speaker at industry trade shows, Max runs the Organic Food Industry Group on LinkedIn, where his weekly curated email is read by thousands of organic food CEOs, founders, and executives from all over the world. Anya Kaats

Anya Kaats, Suja Juice Marketing Director
Anya has worked within the natural foods industry for her entire professional career, starting at Whole Foods Market and eventually landing her dream job at Suja Juice in late 2013. Having struggled with dietary & digestive issues from a young age, Anya adopted a modified paleo diet during college and noticed a huge improvement in her overall health & well-being. She developed an immense passion for whole, unprocessed, food and nutrition and is thrilled to be able to merge her passion with her professional career, working for a brand that shares her commitment to promoting health and wellness. Anya is currently studying to be a Certified Holistic Health Coach at the Integrative Institute for Nutrition.
